# NeuroAPI — Agent Authentication

NeuroAPI authenticates agents and programmatic clients with long-lived
API keys. Use the key as an HTTP Bearer token on every request.

## Register an agent

1. Create an account at https://neuroapi.me/signup
2. Mint an API key at https://neuroapi.me/dashboard/api-keys
3. Scope the key to the operations the agent needs (scrape, search, crawl,
   map, extract, screenshot, summary, batch_scrape, branding, usage, interact).

## Credential format

Authorization: Bearer nk_live_xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
```

MCP clients that cannot send Authorization headers may use the path form:

```
https://neuroapi.me/api/<nk_live_...>/mcp
```

## Rotation and revocation

- Rotate or revoke any key at https://neuroapi.me/dashboard/api-keys.
- Keys may be IP-allowlisted and rate-limited per-key from the same page.
